Did you consider the Sony A7 and A7r.
The A7r has no AA filter and is the king of sharpness costs less then the D610 body and has the same or similar sensor as the D800E.
And in india its priced less then the US price so its a steal.
You can mount any make lenses via adaptor.

Even I can vouch for a7r.. the sensor is same as nikon d800.. both sensors are made by Sony everything is identical.
Plus you can get a Nikon Adapter and your nikon lenses will work with it. (not all features may work) http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...m2_nikon_f_to_e_mount_nex.html/6784/KBID/7355

I don't know why do you want to carry 2 cameras while travelling when most prefer the lightest camera during travel. after all you are travelling there to enjoy the beauty of those places. not lug 2 cameras around (one being FF and heavy)

Smart bhai, why are you suffering from gas ( Gear acquisition syndrome) :p . Buying more gear wont improve your photography skills. As max suggested, better to carry lighter gear and enjoy the journey and today's high end compacts will deliver very good image quality.
