Any Netflix Account sharing groups on TE ?

Can someone explain what's TV client and non-tv client..
In which group these fall into - Native Netflix app on TV, and the Netflix app on apple TV, fire stick, nvidea shield, mi tv stick etc..

Hey everyone, how are you managing to get around this restriction?

All your examples are TV clients. Non TV are phone and laptop.

You can't. My family (in different locations) just gave up and all bought the 199 plan.

It only checks the public wifi afaik so I don't see how that can get blocked. Did you verify if all devices had the same ip?
It most likely isn't as simple as public IP. My guess is some sort of unique device ID is checked which is independent of public IP.

Well I don't see what else they could check. Maybe stuff like GPS data but it shouldn't have access to those in the first place so public IP seems to be the only option to me. People have definitely made it work before, maybe things changed but will see if I can test it with my brother's account if I am free. I prefer Jellyfin over those 10 different succubus services lol. :P

Yes, it does work till date and our group is using it without any problem. Any email from Netflix will be received to one gmail id (or any email id) of the administrator.

1. A common email id needs to be created by the administrator and the credentials needs to be shared to all members of the group.
2. The administrator needs to set forward any email received from Netflix to the new email id that has been created.
3. When Netflix detects different IP address, it will throw out a communication on TV stating to confirm "Netflix Household settings"
4. Any member who receives this communication on TV needs to choose the email option displayed on the TV.
5. Now the member needs to sign in to the email created by the administrator and open the Netflix email and confirm the "Netflix Household" in the email.
6. Netflix on TV will start working now.

There are other methods but this seems to be the simple workaround as you just need to confirm the setting through email and Netflix starts working.
