Any Option For Long Term Suspension Or Intermittent Use For DTH ?

I'm thinking to get any DTH(D2H/Tata Sky etc) soon or later(after compulsory digitization) for my 2nd CRT TV.
But I planning to run it for about 4 to 6 months in a year cos I already have Cable with my 1st CRT TV.

Is there a long term suspension option available for any DTH ?
If YES, what would the cost for that ?
Also, if I simply stop recharging my account, what will happens?
And what would be the way/charges to restart services after that?
Do I need to do any paper work or need to do anything to start service again ?
Any if i want to change Chanel package at next time ?
And which DTH cheaper and good at after sale service ?
Suppose the Dish move from its exact place due to storm then how much they(DTH) gonna charge to fix this ?
BTW,can I do this by myself ?

Used in tata sky.

Friend has used for 3 months. He didnt recharge for 6-7 months, They will call sometime, tell them you are out of station or country.

Next time you recharge, they will cut 10 Rs as reactivation.
 
I have a Videocon D2H, I hadnt recharged since last December. Recharged it a week ago, it recharged like normal and no deductions, no extra funda. Just started working within 30 seconds of recharging.

This offer is good too.
Only I have to invest a on extra STBs.
My cable took Rs.600/- for STB but still not gave us STB.
At resent cable is cheapest option cos I'm getting most of the PAY channels @200/-.
I'm gonna wait until July 1st 2012.
Then things could change a little bit ?
May be new DTH connection could be cheaper.....
 
^ dth rates have increased due to increase in service tax and entertainment tax. dth wont be cheaper than cable.

If there a competition(after all become same Digital) between DTH and cable price could drop for DTH may be ?
But,I don't think 'Cable Amendment Law' gonna deploy soon.
As always time will tell who will get more benefit from this act we or Govt or these business guys.
