Any Reddit fans here?

A number of so-called 'Indian' subs, as well as worldnews have been infiltrated by pakistanis and they are occupying the position of mods. You'd get banned for opposing the rhetoric of 'secularism' and defending anything that has remotely anything to do with BJP/RSS. Try to supply proofs and that won't help either. Ask for the reason and there will be a permanent ban.

actually I find r/indiaspeaks just as awful as r/india - why can't Indians ditch their agenda and work for the common good? actually work - like write a program or share technical knowledge/books

What I DID was this - which was my point all along - put your MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS:

There are a lot of good subreddits but as with anything in life, you just have to find what interests you. Avoid all india related subs (left wing and right wing)

Also, Reddit recently got large investment from tencent so from now on assume reddit as agent of CCP china.

Why is that a bad thing - CCP? We were Socialist kind-off at Independence. It's true that many Indians feel China is the enemy but we were ruled by the British. Also, the CCP has brought the Chinese people development and a united nation. I am not pro capitalism/communism - but Indians should study more and we need to make that possible even for the dullards (like myself)

^ kek. you're defending CCP. I rest my case
exaggeration does not substitute for competence - there is no 'case', or defense. If you rubbish something people are likely to ask you why. (your use of 'agent of CCP china' is offensive because you have no personal knowledge and are speculating). Do you have any experience dealing with the Chinese? Have you used QQ? Have you spoken to Chinese people? Have you been to China or understand how they function?

I've used QQ - it's like a protected playground for children. Ordinary Chinese don't have a lot of exposure to foreigners and so the CCP has allowed foreign teachers in - the students say things that Indians with more exposure normally would not say. (that does not make us any less racist) Also the children hang out with the adults - we have no concept of national service but on QQ it's kind off visible (partly because Chinese adults can't go anywhere else on the web, so they tend to hang out together with the kids) .. your 'duty' could well involve sitting in chat and keeping an eye on what goes on. Additionally the Chinese are pretty clanish but we foreigners get to see that outside China.. within QQ where everyone is Chinese I did not observe that defensive posturing. Of course everything is in Chinese.

Can you name just one Indian board that is similar: school going kids to married adults all in one place - talking about their daily lives? (think of QQ as Yahoo Messenger with bells and whistles and a chinese graphics library/api - not Qt/GTK)

Then there is TaoBao which is just a search front-end for factory-agents. Again, can you name a single Indian equivalent? It's not that hard to do.. why don't our traders unite amongst themselves and create a text/sms order service? It takes a sense of unity and common thinking to reduce conflict and get work done.

Mindlessly blaming the CCP of spying - you may be right but no one's going to give you credit for being correct. Expose your thinking - that way we know it's not jealousy or selfishness driving your engine.

As for spying yeah I think from personal experience of the large number of IPs my QQ client was generating - they do that and more. What do you suppose GMail is - "free" email? Reddit is run by Conde Naste - they used to send "free" magazines to Indians for 1-year and all the Indian boards on Reddit are designed to spread hate among Indians!

I'll happily accept Chinese spying vs deliberate spreading of hate and division by Reddit! (spying is a method of learning and in itself not harmful)

Wow! I can't believe someone/Indian said that! LOL! How can a country have a natural ally - the very basis is exclusion?
