Any specific method to keep a prepaid number active when not using ?

Ok can you tell me how did you proceed with all this. Please let me know so i can also fight back.

They are giving me TRAI BS saying i need to recharge / use for 200 rupees and all.

I recall reading another more recent thread with the same subject but i cant find it so posting here, So there is no other method to keep your prepaid sim from deactivating then send a sms/call every three months ? My cousin working in dubai keeps loosing his indian sim because of this issue , he says his indian sims dont work in dubai so he cant use it even once in 3 months , any solution to this issue ?

My message is not going to help OP but here's what I did to protect a nice number I have purchased,
I know Reliance CDMA never deactivates mobile numbers. But others do (including TATA Indicom CDMA).
I bought that nice looking number from TATA Indicom about a year back,
used it for a month for internet with my unlocked data card
and then MNPed into reliance CDMA after three months of purchase.
Now I am waiting for my sister's birthday to gift it to her.
