Laptops Any suggestion Acer4530

I am insearch of a laptop and i have zeroed in ACER 4530. My requirements are
1. Daily office work
2. Watching Movies
3. Listinging Music
4. Playing games like chess and racing (low level)
5. Will use it as downloading movies with almost 16 -20 hrs daily
6. Use direct ac power
7. Will upgrade the RAM to 4Gb
8. Will use it for 2 years

My problem is i found one model with 780g (hd 3200) with turion x2 on Acer india site. But at the dealers end i found the nvidia 9100gs model with athlon x2 proc.I am in mumbai right now. So where can i get the 780g (hd 3200) with turion x2 model in mumbai and at what price? If any one has any user experience(pros. & con.) then share please.
 
stay away from lappy's with amd processor's they are not good at all .. poor battery life and unstabale
 
I'm using a 4530 for the exact same purposes as you and I'm more than satisfied with it. At the price I paid it's excellent vfm. Picked it up from Vijay sales and they put it on installments on my credit card. I don't even notice the expense. It's like I got this cool laptop for free :)

Of course you need to upgrade the RAM. I simply added a 2 GB module, since I didn't want to throw away the 1 GB module that came with the machine, and Vista sings. I'm downloading the windows 7 release candidate. Should install that soon.
 
Well , I purchased Acer4530 two days ago for a friend of mine and its really good and will fulfill your requirements properly. It's a really VFM laptop and comes for Rs.26500/-[prime] + free backpack + 1gb more(Rs.630).

i got a quote for acer 4530 for 28 k.

46500 kaun se zamaane ka price hai

this is indeed a VFM lappie.

or acer 4730z at 31 k with intel proccy

I want to purchase ACER 4530 and i found some info about ACER 4530 on Acer India and i guess it would be helpful suggestion for you.
 
My friend got a acer 4310 in july 2007 and after few months the screen turned white and we found that this is generic problem with the whole series... Plus the keyboard is crap... Its very hard to operate... Better go for dell inspiron15... Dell usually has no issues...
 
Its excellent for a little bit of gaming too..only problem is after some times it gets heated...so try a good cooling pad too...its great otherwise
 
4530 is around 28k

arre bhai go for dell inspiron 15. u will get that for around 32-34k. its a good deal as compared to acer 4530.

much better build quality than acer.

acer sucks.

i used my friend's acer laptop and it has a very poor keyboard and the mouse pad is very crappy.

doesnt even come near the dell quality.
