I'm thinking of getting one that works both for the pc and the 360.
How much would it cost me to get a decent sturdy sanwa stick.

if u feel like.. wait and try for a collector's pack of Tekken6

it wd be offered with an arcade stick.

Price is gonna be a factor. $150 for the bundle. :P

I searched a lot for a cheap option, am still hung up on arcade classics (Samurai Shodown, World Heroes):donatell:.
Finally found a Flash Fire/Combat arcade stick which was bundled with this -

Right now thou there's no mention of the stick with it :(
Was around 1k when I got it

I'd get the Madcatz Tournament Edition stick for around $150, its one of the best sticks for fighting games.

a friend of mine imported a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 for about 6500 to 7000 bucks. Madcatz TE will be close to 10k shipped.

i don't know about PC / Xbox cross compatibility though.

I'm looking for reasonably priced quality sticks that work both on the pc and 360.Like the one from this site .You can customize pretty much everything and they are pretty reasonably priced for what they do.Given that they are a home based shop they might even gift wrap it possibly helping us avoid any duties. But the bad part is they have very long wait times,as much as 4-5 months!

a good arcade stick will cost you... that's for sure. you get what you're paying for. a custom made one is better and strangely cheaper but like you said, you have to wait.

the madcatz TE is probably the best you can buy right now and the price is actually reasonable. the problem is getting it shipped adds a lot. HRAP 3 is a good alternative. the only "con" is that it comes with Hori buttons instead of Sanwa or Seimitsu but seriously, most people won't notice.

have you even used sticks before? i'm asking because there's no point in shelling out a lot of money only to find out you don't like them at all.

also, what would you say is reasonable pricing for a good quality stick?

Obviously yes!

I spend quite a lot of my childhood years on arcade games, mainly KoF.Over the years I have played on rigs with all kinds of sticks, button types and layouts and can clearly identify what I like.

I understand people could actually end up hating the sticks given the learning curve and possible lack of push button special moves and stuff but for me the keyboard mouse combo or a 360 controller just won't cut it.

For me Rs.5000 for a sturdy little cross compatible box that can be upgraded sounds reasonable and maybe upto Rs.8000 for something which requires only the stick be upgraded.

The arcadeinbox stick prices are pretty reasonable, even if you include shipping charges,it'd come to around Rs9-10k but you won't need to spend anymore, its just the customs duty that scares me.
