Has anyone here been to Lavasa (near Pune) ??
I am planning to go there in next couple of weekends.
What is there to see ??
How much time one expects to spend there(exclusive of travel) ??
What to do there apart from roaming around ?
I will going on my bike, so can i roam there on my bike ?
Any entry fees ??

Any other details you would like to give....

I've been to Lavasa. Waste of space, don't bother.

There's a lake, and some decent restaurants on the bank. That's it.. hated it, we were looking to buy some property there, but ran off. It's a decent drive from Bombay though..

Went there in a friend's Chevy Beat... was bored to death, nothing spectacular.. you can go there if ur in love and dont wanna bother anyone. Restaurants are strictly OK and not that great. All in all if you enjoy driving then go else don't bother.

Me too was thinking to visit lavasa.

but is it that beautiful & scenic/sightseeing or its just a fuss!!

Its just that a city is been created by big shots and politicians they are like they wanted to create another mumbai and they themselves become owner of them as they sell properties.

Never have been there and also doesnt wish to be there anytime soon.

They ruined a picnic type spot by creating a city and damaging the nature.

Avoid the trip if possible.

I've been there.
boating in a lake, good looking houses, ok food quality.
I mean you expect the food to gr8 at such spot, but no.
Also there are no gardens for visitors to seat and chat.
It's all good if you own a house there. I won't put a dime there in 100 years.
Politicians' and builders' bastard child.

Go there if you enjoy fast driving on well laid curvy roads.
The only attraction for which I go there every 6 months.

Well its (Lavasa Roads) Heaven for us bikers ! We go there every weekend ... If you are biking fan , and have itch to scrape your knee then its awesome place( I mean the roads :P ) ...

You can enter the city , therez no entry fee ... You might need to register and show your driving license at the entrance gate.

Inside the city , therez a restro , watersports etc ... Lavasa is India's first planned hill city

give it a try ...
