Asking cause I just tasted their Alphonso mango flavor with glucose etc. Yuk. Tastes like they put copra oil in it. Copra is those sun dried coconuts which stink a bit.
I like banana chips fried in that oil, but after some time the oil becomes sort of rancid and tastes horrible.
That rasna mango flavor has that oil in it I think. Tastes gross since oil has gone bad. Feel like sending them the whole bottle now.

Does anyone know how to ensure that tang powder does not get crystallized when stored in a jar or something ?
Mine gets crystallized and then I have to sort of dig the powder, it is not free flowing like it was when opened for first time.

I am missing MILO

milo was the best choco powder i ever had and i also miss it badly. I still have all the freebies i use to get with milo in multiples like bat, ball, stumps, flying saucers, helicopters, binoculars, frisbees, racquets, rocket launchers, ak47's , apache helicopters, sukhois, beoing, airbus etc etc :-/ :-/

wow, i remember when it came in a kit. Some powder and that little vial.

What memories.[DOUBLEPOST=1402098983][/DOUBLEPOST]

Always use a dry spoon.

^ Rasna still comes in a pack. Instead of a bottle they put the liquid in a sachet. Powder in another sachet.

For some reason, I thought this thread was started by Being.Smart.
Lol. I expected someone to say this.
Competition for Being Smart now :p

Try using a dry spoon, with air tight jar & put it in your fridge.
and yes dont store it for too long....

I always use dry spoon. And use air right jar but I guess storing for long is the issue here. I don't consume it frequently and many a times it is kept for guests but then in the long time it is kept, I guess it gets crystallized.

^^ apart from using dry spoon, i use a narrow-mouthed jar for storing tang and it never crystallizes. jar gets opened everyday - be it summers or winter but still no crystallization. it crystallizes easily if i store it in those lock-n-lock/lock-n-stock type air tight containers. i use those fat, narrow-neck supplement bottles which are designed to let less air inside.

and high humidity could be another factor.

I always urged my dad to buy it because of all the freebies on offer. :D

I rather go for lemon juice, lassi, khus and roohafza type rose drink (with milk)
Tastes awesome. Sometimes I do get those carbonated suger flavoured sodas (I guess they are everywhere those 8-12 flavour dispenser thingy) Next door shop has it so I go every time I feel bored. 10 Rs per 300ml and 35 for 1 liter I guess standard across india

I used to decide the chocolate drink from complan, milo, bournvita and horlicks based on what the freebie is. :P
So everytime I would buy a different powder.
Same here. Only exception was the Vanilla flavoured Complan which tasted like milk powder. Loved to taste it dry. :yum yum:
