I own a Samsung 46B7000 LED-LCD which I got in Lucknow for Rs1.36lacs.
Also got the Xbox360 arcade+2 games. :)

This Xbox scheme is for all Samsung LED-backlit ones, I guess.

Not sure about Pune but these prices seem like quite high if thats the quote you got.
They are actually the DPs so you'll be able to bargain your way, I suppose. :)

As for the experience, even the normal analogue cable and other SD content looks excellent on this as compared to some of the other LCDs of the same size so I haven't got any DTH (still deciding).

I'm a gamer so went through with this offer. :ohyeah:

One thing that you may or may not have noticed is that these TVs don't have
an optical audio out (only for Asian versions while European versions have that :@)

First check the price .. In August 09 (offer), Ezone was selling 40B6000 for 84K without any goodies. If you negotiate you will get a better price.

Second .. I think it is better to stick to 6000 series. When the service engineer comes for the intsallation ask him to enable HD video and MKV video playback support from service menu.

Third .. LED 6000/7000 has only one A/V video or Composite Video IN . You can use only one at a given point of time. So if you have a DVD player with A/V out or composite out (without HDMI support) and a set-top box for TV with one A/V out, you will have to change manually every time you want to switch the source. (Assuming you are not using any receiver).

But the TV picture quality is amazing. I am extremely happy with my LED 7.

I use a series 32 inch LED as my monitor, its simply amazing for HD gaming, 4870x2 takes care of pushing some sweet framerates. As mentioned even standard SD tv looks great (tata sky). Would recommend it, looks cool as well of course, have it wall mounted its really simple mechanism only one nail in the wall

Thanks for all your inputs and suggestions, i appreciate.

I checked at samsung showroom in pune and they are quoting same price and no negotiations.

I wish sony advertises new models and offers starts flowing in market.

I believe, samsung will not stop B6000.

Thanks,

My brother got the LED 7 series 40 inch for 92K from a samsung dealer at Indira nagar Bangalore. He got a Airtel DTH free.

The picture quality was amazing and it was better than the CCFL backlight LCD. Its worth investing money on this LED series.

Initially the dealer quoted 1.12 k or 1.14 K for LED 40" + Airtel DTH + 22" LCD. We did not opt the LCD because it was not worth the 20 K. So chose just the LED and DTH and both came for 92K. I guess it was good deal.

thats correct.

finally i got LED 6 series 46 inches+xbox+dvd player w/USB for 1.25 lacs.

might not look a good deal in pune but did not have other options to try out.

Thanks,

Congrats! :)

Would like to hear your experience with the TV too, since I own a similar model.

Samsung LED has no comparison in terms of picture quality, just excellent, 46" makes me feel like cinema hall.
i have attached my sony music system 2200W(quite old one) to tata sky DTH and the could get good theater effects.

Can someone tell how can I make my connections(DTH, DVD player and X-box) to LED and should be able to switch as required without plugging/un-plugging behind LED.

Everytime, I need to un-plug DTH if I want to use Xbox/DVD and vice-versa.

appreciate guys.

The Xbox can be connected through the HDMI port.

As for DTH and DVD player, the problem is that the Composite and Component ports are multiplexed so I don't think you can directly connect both simultaneously.

If the DVD player has HDMI out (which I doubt) then you can use it.
