no, it doesnt. all downloaded games in your PS3 hard-disk can be played from any user account :) you can test it out by creating a new id (& downloading some game demos from PSN store) Then play those demos from the other id. QED ;)

So the games are restricted to no. of ps3s rather than no. of accounts right because I have two separate accounts one with idian address and one with us address.

Yep. 5 activated PS3 ;)

& yeah, same here. i created an indian account like an achha bachha and realised that there was diddly-squat i could do with it. So created the US account ;)
 
Is there are way to share the content using usb or hdd that I don't know of.As far as I could find on the net, it seems its not possible.So we each have to download it ourselves, no choice over there.Infamous is 8Gb Meh.

btw the limitation is 5 PS3s and 16 accounts per PS3 which is still a lot but don't just go on creating accounts.
 
We're looking to buy small games. Basically the PS3 minis like Flower n others. And we COULD buy PS1 classics etc. I wont be interested in full PS3 games.

I wonder if it would be possible to share a PSN Plus subscription as then it would be possible to get several games for free every month.
 
@dhruv, same goes for me.. seriously not interested in buying full ps3 games off psn.. we should settle only for psn games, minis and sometimes ps classic..

and i was thinking about it too, buying a psn annual account and then sharing it.. it may be possible but i'm not sure.. googling it right now..
 
Ya me too only for content exclusively on psn.Just checked that infamous is available on ebay.

Mumbai guys we should form a team of 4-5 as dhruv already seems to have 4 people with him.
 
Lol... i dont have any ppl with me :D Can someone just make a list of people who have shown interest ? I've just been a little busy with college n all..
 
Why don't you people post your IDs in this thread , then we'll have a fair idea of how many people were talking about and it'll be easier to organize.

@dr_khoon, there's already a thread on PSN IDs. creating a new thread is the fastest stairway to thread locking ;)
 
i was searching on net last night but didn't get any confirmed info about it.. so, for now, we'll just buy a psn card and start a psn sharing team and maybe next time, if psn plus can be shared, we'll look into it..

and, about the games from the above list, my vote goes for Joe Danger and after that Flower..

also, there is a game called Fat Princess and it seems really tempting, how about that too..??

let me fetch a list of some good psn games..
 
I am interested in joining a Team. But atm i am not able to create a PSN ID for some reason from my console .... I have paypal so i can buy the games if the need be :)
 
@apextwin Thanks for the offer mate ! That could come in useful :D Why dont you create the PSN ID from your PC and then try to use that to sign in ?

Bah!!! How to create a ID from PC. Every time i try to create a ID from PS3 language changes to Russian for some reason :S ... Also let me knw if i am part of any PSN sharing Team :P
