I know a guy who got Nokia X6 from Thailand and the 3G freq thr is not 2100(except for one operator)...
When he tried with BSNL 3G he could not get speeds more than GPRS. Where as the X6 sold in India support 3G upto some 3.6Mbps...
so make sure that it supports english language
and the freq in India and Taiwan are same.... specially for 3G.
unlocking a phone is very easy these days so dont bother abt that...

But any idea if they have locked phones in Taiwan, cause if the have unlocked phones only, its not worth getting it from there.
