I have no idea about the other dealers but the same thing happened to me with buygamingstuff.
I had pmed him a couple of times got no response at all!

I gave up after that.

even u have to refund me for the CCFL . i got payment details for that after posting there 2-3 and that too after week , when i transferred u said stock is gone :( .

i would have transferred the day i posted in ur thread itself if u had replied with account details . but u only replied so late and when i transferred stock was over :|

I haven't yet recieved the bill and remaining payment against the Benq V2200 Eco yet. I am sending this message again as a reminder along with the details for billing and postal address. Please confirm by replying to the email as personal message is not being sent saying that u need to delete some messages for new ones.

I stopped dealing with buygamingstuff some time back even though he has good prices. I asked him to list a Gigabyte PSU on ebay, promptly paid for it and he also shipped it after two days. In the meantime, I had a death in the family and had to go out of station for a week. He actually sent me a PM and email saying he will not like to deal with me again as Im slow in marking item as received in ebay and so he is getting delayed payments. Ridiculous way to put off a customer, especially given that there is a timeout in ebay after which he will anyways get his money.

On a similar vein, sent a PM to each of the dealers in TE asking if they have any SSD's in stock. Not a single reply from anyone.
 
I still not recieved the mousepads from mediahome ( he claims that the money has not reflected, one week after he confirmed the transfer)

I still have not recieved the refund from buygaming stuff ( though he claims to have deposited a cheque a while ago)

this sucks :@

For dealers: Guys, you have to ensure that someone ( if not you ) reads your PMs and responds to them. I know that your inbox must be flooding with pms but there are many genuine buyers who may feel disheartened and form the opinion that the guy is so busy, will he able to service me after I buy stuff from him? Mediahome and Buygamingstuff are yet to respond to my PMs. BuyGamingStuff's threads are filled with people asking quotes and then asking why he's not responding to pms.

I've only dealt with KMD and Rahul and I can say, without a doubt, that they are very responsive after money has been paid, even if they are late responding to pms :)
 
Wasn't there a rule somewhere that dealers were ONLY supposed to deal wiht members of TE via PMs. This was done so that some sort of accountability could be enforced.
Obviously noone cares about the rule.

I have repeatedly reported deals where Dealers have openly given out email/phone numbers and asked members to contact them on those.
If the Admins/Mods think that the accountability attained through restricting transactions to PMs is not required, why not update the rules to reflect the same?

^Well as far as accountability is concerned, i guess most of the dealers here including me maintain the list in the main thread itself, even for TE members as well as others because well, a lot of guys join TE after our deals with them. As far as giving our phone numbers/email's to TE members, i personally do it only over the P, if i did it openly then i guess it was a mistake on my part. But if giving out the phone numbers is a problem, you need to understand how difficult it is to do transactions over PM's. Making guys understand the deal, as a lot of folks have tons of queries. If it is about posting them openly, then well, that is worth reporting.
 
Well I did not receive my pakka bill for my PC... which I bought in 2008 :bleh: I gave up coz I knew I wasn't going to get the bill and most of the stuff I bought from him have been changed since.. so I don't need it any more now...

But then again this shows how people tend to forget the remaining formalities once the deal is through.
