The price for an out of warranty macbook with charging issues is way too high. That too with a battery that needs replacement which alone would cost 24k.

For reference, you can get a 14 inch M1 pro model here in TE for less than 1.1L, that too with more than 4 months of warranty. I know yours is a 16 inch model with 2 more cores, but the price difference between them used is around 10-15k at max.

Price reconsidered. But considering the diagnostics report, issue is power/adapter ?related? Battery health(charge holding capacity @89%) is still fair/good. No point replacing it at this point of time.

I am just curious, did you try charging with any other charger?

If so, did it charge and did it hold the charge?

Have you tried any USB c charger ? It not need to be 120 watt. Any USB c charger will work

Needs to be high enough wattage like 50/65 W

the MBP16 will power fine with pretty much any type C charger. Even 18W

I don’t have any other 120w charger for MacBook Pro.

Try charging with any 20W + Type C adapter, it should take charge even if it is charging at a slower rate. I have the same model and had to charge a couple times with a OnePlus charger and it worked, was painfully slow though.

Also you can use this:> https://apphousekitchen.com/ to check how much wattage the laptop is pulling from the adapter as well as how much its using.
