News Apple Event - iPhone 16

Are you suggesting they don't deserve iPhones because they are chappri/nibba's?

OR

If chappri/nibba's are somehow able to acquire the same product that you use, therefore the product becomes bad and you must buy something better?
anyone can get iphone, not a question if one can deserve or not.

not everyone need a iphone just because they can acquire. the iphone brand value and reputation is no longer the same as it was. now everyone owns it and it feels cheap. the iphone price value goes down rapidly and for me i would prefer to spend on a basic android phone and get a better camera.

iphone with each update have a high battery drain issue. high repair cost. closed ecosystem.

for me, iphones are no longer worth.

I think we should start considering everyone a chappri unless they have a latest 2tb pro model.
Lets face the reality guys, base models are only 6k/month on no cost emi.
Gone are the glorious days of apple, when we used to hear about people selling their body parts.
Now all they have to do is take a 6k/month emi for a year every year .
Sad

It's actually far less now. You can get the 13 for under 50k during sales and 14 under 60k. 45k for iPhone with no cost emi is just 4k per month and is nothing for those who earn, say 10lpa.

Few years ago, I was the only one with iPhone in my team but more and more are shifting to iPhone.

He should suggest both. When it's about chappris the either and or are both negative. Also I thought chappris are about being classless, not money less. In fact it is them who have more money in this country

This I think is best example that proves your point

A nice event overall. Bummed though that besides vanilla AirPods, we didn't get much updates on Pro and most importantly, Max. Was really hoping there'd be a Max 2nd gen.

The hearing health segment impressed me the most. Made a separate news post on that: https://techenclave.com/threads/the-airpods-pro-2-will-soon-double-as-hearing-aids.222076/

Good to see Apple's feeling the fire and bringing the chips closer to cutting edge across the board. A18 on the 16 was a surprise. Though, most of the features talked we already heard during WWDC. Excited that there's a public beta next month but bummed it might not be available in India and probably not in 14 series and older for now (unsure about this tho).

I'm still skeptical of the camera button even though those touch features looked dope. Doesn't feel ergonomic to me and I'm not sure if most people will find it enjoyable over fiddling with on-screen touch controls. Surprised they added it on iPhone 16 as well. Looking forward to hearing impressions and reviews.

What pissed me off the most was AirPods with ANC. Why add that confusing segmentation? What's with Apple lately adding confusing segmentation across the lineups? I was pissed with MacBook Pro M3 itself. At least they should've assigned some distinctive model naming to make it a bit clearer. But still, this is straying from the simple path.

Something to ensure people get the Pro instead :')

But unconventionally this year, Apple is being generous with adding A18 and the fancy camera button.

Though, it wouldn't kill them to at least add 90Hz option but I guess that'd make it even less attractive to consider the 16 Pro.

Damn, HDFC is gone entirely? :(
90hz would’ve been perfect. I sometimes use my nord ce 2 that I gave to sibling and it feels smooth af compared to my 14 in terms of app switching and scrolling.

The base would have been great purchase had they not cut it down to 60hhz to upsell the pro. Nearly 2025 and this bs.

Also I don't know people here were so sensitive as to who buys an iPhone.. that's some elitist bullshit while getting scammed by the apple marketing department. Congratulations.
