Apple has released the camera samples of the new iPhone 5 .

The camera is similar to the iPhone 4S - 8 megapixel backside illuminated sensor with a hybrid IR filter, five element lens and f/2.4 aperture , but it has been made 25% smaller to fit the thinner phone .

It has several improvements to improve picture quality like dynamic low-light mode , which is said to analyze adjacent pixels in low light conditions and give the camera "up to 2 F-stops greater performance".

The new system is also using precision lens alignment along with sapphire crystal for the lens cover.
The latter is known for its sturdiness so you won't see any scratches that could potentially ruin your shots.

The Image Signal Processor ( ISP ) has also been upgraded , there is spatial noise reduction and smart filter as well .

The camera can capture image with resolution up to 28 MP in panorama mode thanks to its fast A6 processor , which is impressive for a phone , considering other phones panorama modes produce lower resolution images .
