Wow that seems like a good deal since it retails for 72,900 in the Apple India website and about 1200 USD in the Apple US website. The seller seems to be decent enough with a good rating. Wonder why the pricing is so low!

eBay is perfectly safe for transactions so go ahead and bite the deal. :ohyeah:

Wow. That's a kick ass deal considering others in Chennai are selling it for much higher. The seller is reputed - he regularly brings the DOWs on the iPod touch and the DSLR cameras. Only thing might be that eBay would put your transaction 'on hold' for verification purposes, as it is a high value transaction, and would ask you to send the copy of the card used. Just MIGHT.

its kick ass all rite!! jst was worried abt the high cost of the transaction.i am going ahead and buying it guys.anyone looking for a mac pro should take this deal.

I had a talk with the dealer regarding this deal, when I was to buy my macbook. He said the laptop comes from US at cheaper rates & won't have any bill. Since Apple warranty works with serial no. It should not be a problem.

So basically it is US macbook that he buys for $1099 ( around ) & imports it & then sells it to u. It takes 6-7 days for him to ship it to you.

Since I needed a bill & proper imported piece , I went ahead & bought one from Apple Store for 68k.

^No wonder! But since Apple honors worldwide warranty, it is not a problem. :)
Yes Apple does honor the warranty, but for ppl who are fuzzy about bill ( read: ME) & want warranty on additionally purchased accessories (read: Apple VGA Cable ), it's worth the extra money to buy it locally.

Btw FYI, without bill, warranty starts on date of manufacturing of laptop & it maybe 1-2 months less at the time of purchase depending on how old ur particular piece is.
