Update on my apple Issue.

I have iPhone 6s,bought in march.
It was having issue with upper left edge.it was coming apart for no reason.as if something was pushing it up from inside.I could see back light in the crack.

I visited imagine apple authorised service centre

I was very pleasantly surprised with their service.all they did was ask me to take token.within 5 minutes my no.came.I went and described issue and they asked if I have back up of device.which I had take very recently.after my consent, they took it inside for service engineer to look into.
Within 5 minutes , my handset came out and it was repaired without a single question asked.

I was prepared to wait for 4-5 days to 2 week considering what @Neo-N had to go through.

But apple and its ASP imagine did surprise me.
Once again fortifying the faith in brand.
 
What was fixed maybe it was easy. As far as the OP is concerned as expected, until someone signed off they would pay the service centre did not budge.

He took it to the centre on Jun 28 and got his new replacement, not a refurb on Jul 16. So a turnaround of 18 days. Which is the average for this sort of thing. I keep a month.
