Apple to release cheaper version of Iphone 4 within weeks

If they're gonna charge 25k for a stripped down version of iphone4, 32-34k for normal iphone4 so what will they charge for the new iphone 4S/5? More than 40k? Isn't that highway robbery?
 
Even if they charge 15k for the 8GB version, apple would still be earning profit in it..

Plus there are over the time earnings through apps sale on market..

Just hope apple would price the low cost Iphone4 reasonably :)

The 8GB model, definitely! But don't we all know it wouldn't happen. The 3GS which retails for that price now would have to be eventually stopped.
 
^^ I believe it would replace the 3Gs at that price point gannu.

I do not think at all it would be priced at 25 k,no chance.this is a move to infiltrate a developing market and I am sure they will maintain the 3GS pricepoint.

I also do not believe Apple will sell Iphone 4 for 20k or sub 20k. Apple does not have to worry about Android or other OS offering low budget phones. They are currently on top of smartphones list in US. Afterall if they sell a phone for sub 20k, then it wouldn't be called Iphone right ;)
 
^^ afaik that won't be needed coz the iPhone 4s/5 will be the flagship iPhone.this will be a secondary offering at a budget price(similar to the 3GS in the market).the 4s/5 when released will be priced at 35 k and aroundabouts!
 
I have a feeling that Apple will do away with iPhone4 metal frame and glass back, replace with plastic and perhaps try to sell it in range of 20k. But will Samsung let them get away with this ?- what with Samsung Galaxy s2 already at 25k and will perhaps be 20k within 2 months!

It will be a very interesting battle.

The problem is reputation here. If Apple can get away it is because of its reputation. Samsung's reputation is not there when compared to Apple. But Samsung is slowly creeping up and it is indeed as you mentioned "It will be a very interesting battle"
 
Saw on a news channel today that Iphone 4 lite will sell for 9k.Not sure if it was a reputed channel or not.

galaxy s2 for 25k? WHERE?!!

And lol@ iphone4 for 9k. Iphone 4 shall retail for 9k only when the world meets its end,.....actually highly unlikely it will happen even then. :P
 
Ah that site..is it trustworthy? it has no COD option..pity.... That price tag sure was alluring, provided the website was reputed.
