The new iPhone 5 was reported to be facing quality issues in which the anodized aluminium gets scratched off and gets scuffs easily revealing the color underneath . Some customers had even reported their units to be scratched right out of the box .
Now an email response from Apple's marketing chief Phil Schiller has revealed what Apple has to say on the issue . Schiller responded:
"Any aluminum product may scratch or chip with use, exposing its natural silver color. That is normal."
So ,customers who are planning to get iPhone 5 should invest in a good case and keep their phones carefully.
