Gannu- a line or 2 of O/T in a post or maybe a post is ok but avoid using threads in tech sections for convos/discussions unless it's related to the topic.
use PM or IM.
I hope even you will agree that it takes away from the gravity of the situation. :(
And i told you this openly here coz i know you a bitand know that you will take it in the right sense. :)
A post on TE that implies- "freezer 7 pro won't be good for Q6600 G0 at stock, over the stock cooler, even for silence".

Apologies Bikey... :(

Forgot to use [OT]..[/OT] as well..

What's with the 'apology' replies doods :P
I knew you'll would know it's a friendly suggestion and would act upon it- not felt bad about it.
We sound like an awesome 'threesome' exchanging formalities- in the wrong sense of the term.

Sheesh- O/T again- gotta report my posts. :P

^^i think it can handle overclocks pretty well too :)

its rated at dissipation of 130watts which is quite a lot :P

Looking back to something ive posted a year back, I was soo wrong. But didnt have that confidence on 92mm fans for their silence.

Any updates tracer? :)

About 46-47 idle and 52-53 on load on my G0 Q6600 at stock frequency. My stock cooler would do around 55 idle and 60 on load. Of course, you have to into consideration that it's become much cooler these days owing to the rains and it's only been a day since I've installed the Freezer 7 Pro. I'll report back here in a week or so.

At any rate, it's definitely better than the default Intel cooler, that's for sure.

Have the Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro on my e6750.

The cooling aint that great which offers reasonable temps compared to the stock cooler but a reason may be for the not so impressive temps is iv got it running on default speeds(Auto) which keep it pretty quiet.

For a quad core? I would say you would be better off with a better cooling solution like the Tuniq tower especially if you wanna go overclocking. Or you would need this at full speeds..
