I've been using on 2 wheeler - 4 wheeler since past 6 years in Mumbai, I drive >40KMs regularly in the busiest part of traffic that Mumbai has, I can recite numerous instances of road mishaps but there is just 1 golden rule I follow:
Always beware of a GIRL(on the road or behind the wheel) or a DOG ON the road.
The precaution I take is slow down like hell when you see either of the two and give them enough time to make a decision.

¿cómo es que ves perro en las carreteras que también en la ciudad de Mumbai?

Seems like the English language wasn't enough for Being smart to get answers to his queries.
Now we have to deal with him posting questions in foreign languages too.
Really looooong days ahead for us TE folks here...

In US and UK, insurance premium is higher for men than women because (I think) the insurance companies consider men to be at a higher risk of causing fatal accidents. Of course it could be due to drunk/risky driving and the like. I remember I read somewhere that women in those countries may be causing more accidents than men, but the fatality rate is higher in accidents involving men.

I gave up driving in India after trying for almost 1 year. It was too much for me. I would rather walk for half an hour than drive. Once I came to US for an onsite opportunity, I was left with no choice but to drive. In the first month, I received 5-6 middle fingers and shouting. Now, I don't want to generalize based on this, but unfortunately all of them except one where from women drivers. I admit that I was at fault in all those, but I felt that men were more forgiving than women drivers.

So, I don't think women are bad drivers in terms of skills, but bad when it comes to tolerating others.

All right guys which one of you dressed up as a woman and tried to mow down @Being.smart? Please step forward so that we can ban you for failing.

Alright anyone else want to be a 'CONTACT KIILLER'. Like the job title says all you have to do is contact the victim on his two wheeler with your 3/4/6 wheeler.
