internationally, that area is marked as "DISPUTED AREA"

whereas an atlas in pakistan have declared it as independent country

nothing new, yet large part of it is still under indian territory, thats the good part of it.

but now apart from the united states of obama, the chinese are the new pops of the pakis.

And I see Tibet is part of China (I don't have any objection, though). What about Arunachal Pradesh? I cannot see the picture clearly..

the worst thing is JAPAN, the perennial enemy of CHINA has become its New found Friend!!..it really sucks..when a soft country like India finds enemies all around!..ok,Aussie land also votes against Indian projects inside India. just to please the demonic whims of a evil kingdom which thinks it's the natural rights of them to occupy or claim every land their eye falls upon!..what r the Indian diplomats doing ..do they see such maps or sleeping still. very peacefully!..i don't have much hope for India..they were enslaved & ruled by foreign forces in the past for 10000of years..may we have to accept similar fate in future too!!!!!!..they can never learn to defend its sovereignty or maybe its freedom too.

I dont wanna start a flame war or something but adding with a big IMO i seriously think India would have been a better off land under Foreign rule.

But we love noodles and Chinese food! :(

About food, i have some facts that i got to know here. They AFAIK are correct but you never know

->There is nothing like Hakka Noodles, Manchurian in China. No one knows what it is.
-> Shezwan Fried Rice etc we eat is supposed to be spicy. But there is nothing like 'Shezwan" here, it is actually derived from 'Sichuan' which is a province in China known for its spicy food.

maybe somethings wrong with our countries policies if we have so many enemies around us.

pakistan, bangladesh and china being exceptions (since these countries are more like leeches) when Japan and Australia start to vote against India, then it must be some thing is really wrong in the way we handle foreign policies.

^^ may be it's because we are one of the most obnoxious people, always willing to show-off or strut our half-backed ideas, money, influence, connections and because we are adept at ripping each other without any shame. Come to Delhi, the capital of India and experience it all first hand. You will love it.

Of course, the same behavior may work well here and get you certain positions or benefits, in most foreign countries they are more likely call it bluff and take you as fool and as someone who don't even know how and where to pee, let alone build international relations.

BTW, did anyone read this: Delhiites should mend ways before Commonwealth Games: Chidambaram - Delhi - City - NEWS - The Times of India

But I doubt that ppl from Manchuria can ever dream of the variety of manchurian dishes we have here :P

Many would say that India IS presently under foreign rule...... or at the very least under "Foreign Control".

Google "economic hitman" and find out why I say that.....we've been getting hit for quite some time now.

I have not read this piece of news but from the title it looks like it says that people should behave in a disciplined manner and blah blah ahead of the commonwealth games.

This is to provide a respectable image of the nation to world and IMO i feel our PC is not at all wrong in saying this. (No offense to any Delhite)
To give an example (but not to compare), here in Shanghai they are going to have an Expo in 2010, the preparations of which are going on for last one year. Here they are turning all the tables to gear up the city for expo. Better mannerisms are being taught to general public, help is being taken from expats to ensure proper english translations of all public signs etc etc.

very true. i read that, and IMO, all people in cities in india should act more disciplined and mature. anywhere you go its like no one cares about the city or place anymore and just do whatever they please. throw rubbish here and there or spit here and there and what not. :@

one of my friend is indo-chinese .......he was born in china but stays in india for last 12 yrs.
i have learnt two three sentences from him(in chinese)-
您好吗
