You did a great job man :hap2:arun_rulezzz said:hey folks thanks for all the messages but as you already know, i have lost to poland.
this version of need for speed was clearly a wheel game (the logitech g25
)and i was one of the only gamers on an xbox360 gamepad doing laptimes like theirs. out of the top 16 players i was the only one on the pad and i also managed to surprise my opponents from austria and switzerland by beating them using it while they had those expensive wheels of theirs XD
the match against poland was tough but i tried my best. for me the only 2 tracks i stood a good chance of winning were willow spring and infineon because of drafting but i was unlucky with my wallride and the car flipped over on the 3rd lap in willow. the other track was texas and poland was faster than me there because it was all about the wheel.
reuben did great coming in the top 8 and the asphalt guy lost in the name of very very good sportsmanship. he kinda told the referees to stop his race against brazil while he was far off in the lead because the brazilian used a car slower than his! (no kidding) the race restarted and he lost against the brazilian.
overall wcg was awesome. people have to stop underestimating us as a gaming nation and sooner or later we are going to be on top!
ps - we got to try nfs undercover, the new prince of persia game and the new tomb raider game. nfs undercover doesnt look like anything great unfortunately. its just one really reallllllly arcade-y game that resembles nfs most wanted. prince of persia was very nice but now the prince is not alone anymore during his quests and hes a funny guy who likes cracking jokes : S
