CPU/Mobo ASRock Motherboards @India - Worth a Try ?

not much headway was made. I am seriously thinking about the possibility of using one of their mobo's.

Some Querries & Doubt's however remain ?

1] Are there "satisfied" users in India ?

2] Is the warranty & support offered in India/Mumbai reliable ?

@Dark Star did a favourable review some time ago for a llano combination

I am impressed with various global reviews & reports on ASRock series of motherboards. They are known to offer true VFM to the customer. It is both sad & strange thay they have not yet made sufficient inroads in India. The board that I am considering is

ASRock X79 Extreme6/GB LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

This costs about 15K on naaptol (they have listed the maximum no. of asrock boards 23); next at shopmania (13 boards .... but mostly low-end). A comparitive board would be the Asus Sabertooth or Maximus.

I intend to build my new rig in April-2012 and might settle for Intel i5 or i7 (though I have not ruled out completely AMD FX series as yet and for this the Asrock Fatal1ty 990FX Professional is the one for Rs 14.7K)

Oops ..... Is Naaptol a credible place to pick up "computer" stuff ?
 
I meant I have never dealt with naaptol. I thought it was an aggregation site, didnt know they sold as well.

I have an Asrock z68 extreme 4 board with 580 in SLI ready but i bought the board from Malaysia for cheaper 9.5k and the warranty is available only on Malaysia

and i have no idea if Asrock board sell at India at top end board

Thanks Arun.P for the feedback. As I mentioned earlier "naaptol" sells about 23 of their mobo'd in India. I have written to them requesting - RMA; Customer Support etc....... So let's see if they revert back with positive information.
 
Saw quite a no. of people using ASRock motherboards. They were the usual G31 and G41 ones which performed quite well.

Not idea about the high end ones though.

I am a bit skeptical dealing with naaptol. Kindly proceed with caution.

It seems a good deal ASROCK 990FX @ 9K. But since the item is shipped from Amazon US, you may've to factor in some additional 40$ for shipping & handling. Anyhow, still the deal is too tempting.

Thanks.... now this is some "real" news to me.... "junglee.com" .............. never heard of them (where are they based; is this an offshoot of "shopyourworld.com" which claimed to have a similar tie-up with amazon, and later gave "headaches" to everyone) ?
