Assassins creed 2, not able to get to lionardo!

hy guys,

im at the begenning of the game,

after learnning the blend and pickpokwt, now i need to go to lionardo for reparing the blade.

But the map is split into three parts and marker (linardo) on the map is on the other side of the split, now whenever i try to cross the split it says area not excessable.

so i can see where lionardo is on map but cant get to him

Plz guys tell me is there anything i need to complete before all areas become excessable. do i need to complete all view points on my side of area or discover the files of truth, i hv alredy got thr codex file.

get the viewpoints. you shouldn't be facing this problem but no harm in getting the viewpoints anyway. maybe that will fix it.
