Anyway, try overclocking it, scales pretty linearly with overclocking and makes performance like 20-25% better in terms of average FPS, even minimum FPS become much better.

lol, I had a 7970 the day SMC got its first stock. And by the time I bought it, I was already 3rd or 4th on TE to buy. That was in like Jan/Feb, I guess at least 2-4 people would have bought it with each month making the current strength over a dozen perhaps
