I have one and pretty good for basic use.

If you can source from the US or wait, get the MSI Wind Bigger HDD/Screen. Costs bit more too tho

Else just get the EEE locally

HCL uses 30GB rotating HDD unlike EEE.. it adds to weight.

I dunno, the flash feels faster too, thats always an advantage esp wen u have a slower proccy

I wouldnt be caught dead using one of those, even inside my own house

And YES, you can watch downloaded movies on it too. Get a high capacity SD card to increase the storage capacity, a RAM upgrade and ur set

Guys, is the EEE 900 available in India yet? And what is the pricing like? I need to pick up small lappy for my project work, and was kinda interested in the 900 due to the bigger screen, and 20gb storage for the linux version.
