Hey Sorcy, can you pls give us some details about the config and price? and your initial impressions?
 
This is the up and coming ASUS ROG G74SX with the NVIDIA 560M series GPU. I am so waiting to get my hands on this one! :)
@The Sorcerer: How soon are you gonna post a review of this laptop? Also, any release date when it will hit the stores in the US?
 
Price is not mentioned yet (officially). In India, it will be launched by late July/August. Hands on experience and User experience Video will be up by Sunday or monday- reviews following suit.
 
Any idea of the US release date? I have a relative travelling to India in August and I can probably get this with him when he comes over. :)
 
The G74S is around rs. 1.3lakhs here. I called the Asus guys here. Should be good. I have an Asus G53JW A1 and it's one amazing laptop. The G74S is a little too expensive if you buy it from here though.
 
And do check out to see if the g74s has the touchpad and missing keystroke problem that plagued the g73 series. Hope asus fixed that one.
 
^^ I haven't encountered any problem but I find chiclet keyboard to be annoying for regular typing. I used Macbook for sometime as well and I don't like the keyboard type. Anyways, here's the hands on teaser. The review will be up soon.

 
It looks like a great laptop from initial impressions? What will be it's initial cost once it is launched in India?
 
Is that accent real?

Being partly anthropophobic myself, I can understand anxiety and timidness in front of a camera.
 
I might most probably get a similar notebook for evaluation, but not from Alienware (yet). I was trying to put this review on the forum alongwith others, but there's a lame 30k character limit :P
