Which motherboard is the best -

1) Asus A8N 32 SLI Deluxe Motherboard (Socket 939) = Rs. 15000

2) DFI LANPARTY NF4 SLI DR 2 Motherboard (Socket 939) = Rs. 13650

3) DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) = 16000

I will buy after AM2 releases & X2 prices drop.
 
I will rather buy the ASUS crossfire board... It overclocks like hell... And who the hell wants to SLI...
 
Where are u getting the SLI-D from ? That board is not supposed to be a retail board here in India. I confirmed it with CyberSpace - Not for retail. Of the options given, the SLI-DR would be the best in terms of features, performance and price except for the 2*x16 lanes on the ASUS.

@Switch - Yep. The ASUS A8R-MVP is one of the best out there. It beat the crap outta its competition by OC'ing crazy and has the record of the highest HTT. And being a mainstream board, it may not cost as much as the others.

What are the prices of -

1) Asus A8R-MVP.
2) MSI RD480 Neo2.
3) Sapphire X1600XT.
4) Sapphire X1600XL.
5) Powercolor X1600XT.
6) Powercolor X1600XL.
7) MSI X1600XT.
8) MSI X1600XL.

Does Crossfire really has any advantage over SLI?

Does the X1600XT & X1600XL defeat the 7800GT?

The crossfire vs SLI debate is totally different then the boards itself...

The thing is that ASUS A8R-MVP is one of the best boards around... Its a good stable board and overclocks like crazy... Its the thing to get...

Nope, X1800Xt is faster then 7800 GT but much more expensive. X1800XL is slower, basically 7800 GT is one of the best VFM cards out there.

I'am asking about X1600 XT & XL Not X1800 XT & XL.

Anyways, if your gonna buy it when AM2 Socket releases, thats like um, 3 months away ATLEAST, why are you asking now?....

Also, dont need to insult the members, who infact are trying to help you.

Ofcourse its not, if youd do a lil' searching on Google, you'd find out yourself.

I could start a thread right now about my upgrade in May.

I was getting borred that's why I'am asking now.

Just waiting when my Dad will give me Rs. 2,00,000.
 
2,00,000.....dude then wait for some time and get the new socket AM2, the present config you have is decent enough.

Right now I will get a 1 year 2 months old Asus V9570TD (FX5700) 256MB for free from a Family Friend.
 
The DFI NF4 boards are the best for overclocking...period

But i dunno if its worth spending that much for it O_O

its only 4700k here :(
