Hi All P527 users,

There is a new firmware and upgrade available for P527 users to update to the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS

The update can be downloaded from the ASUS download center :clap:

Description:

ASUS PDA Phone P527 V4237_WWE_IND_EXT_V207 WM6.1 only for Indian version
Additional features and improvements:
1.Upgrade from WM6 to WM6.1
2.Adjust Date and Time default setting to local time zone.
3.Enhance decoding efficiency of multimedia playback.
4.Fix Call Filter for disability of screen out unknown phone number.
5.Modem firmware upgrade to V4.47.

Notice:

unzip the attachment to get two files:
1. Firmware procedure:
P527_FUU_IND_20080822.exe
2. Update guide: P527_FUU_SOP_V10_ENG.pdf

Caution:

1.Do not upgrade to different language or regional version onto your PDA Phone.
2.Please follow the attached file to upgrade.
3.If failed, follow the attached file expert mode to upgrade.

Can u plz tell me if u are satisfied with this mobile or not?

It comes with only 64MB of RAM and 200MHz processor. Does it run very slow or is it acceptable? Did u try out the Touch Flo interface on this?(you can get the touch flo interface setup file from xda-developers)
 
Im not into modding, the phone has it's share of flaws as with most WM phones, There is no perfect phone, I earlier was on P320 and that did not do me any good, I got this still the same story it's slow that of course is true, but do not expect miracles, though the HTC ones are better built and in my opinion the screen sensitivity is much better, have had hands on exp. on a P3300 which runs on the exact same specs. but is more responsive
 
This month, in Chip magazine, they had the Asus P320 in the test centre. They had said that the headset supplied with the P320 is really good and the audio output of the P320 is great.

Are u of the same opinion?

Do u prefer the P320 or the 527?(I think that the 527 has a hardware keypad. Is it better because of that?)
