Asus P5GC-MX/1333 + E2180 overclocking assistance...

Hi!

Im new to overclocking as such, was wondering if its possible to to overclock my E2180, if yes to what speeds, o n with stock cooling.. a little help plz..

other than that im usin intel's onboard gfx, have 1GB of RAM - UMAX DDR2 667MHz, n a 450W SMPS..

which mobo are you on?

Intel original?

if so then im sorry but you wont be able to OC.

the 2180 should easily be able to do 2.7G on stock cooling without breaking a sweat..

but like i said, it depends on which mobo you have.
 
^^ He has mentioned the motherboard in the thread title. You should be able to push it to at least 2.6 easily, though I've never heard of the ram before. If that can handle it, then 2.6 is a piece of cake
 
I run my E2180 @3100mhz= 1.34v on the stock cooler. I play cs,callofduty2[multiplayer] like 20+hrs in a week temps go as high as 50c no issues though :) .IDLE @33C :D .
