Is your keyboard connected to a USB 2.0 port? That helps. When the PC boots tap the NumLock key a couple of times to see if it is detected during boot time. If not, then swap ports till it is.
As for the transfer speeds, are you copying a file between your HDD and SSD? If so then these values look normal, else try the benchmark again using a Synthetic benchmark suite like Atto or Crystaldisk.

You bios might have conked up. Use asus cd/dvd you received with the mobo and boot using it and reflash bios...hope that helps.. Just indert it and boot your system and keep pressing press f8/f9 key. Refer to the manual for the exact set of keys and beeps for successive boot or flash.
If theres no display on your system as of now, download asus recent or stable bios version along with its bios boot files from your friends place and ofcourse from asus site, put them on a pendrive and during poweron keep pressing f9 or f8 key(refer manual) to boot directly from pen drive. It will automatically flash your bios and restore it and hopefull all goes well... This procedure takes 3-5 mins.
