Asus will be launching its PadFone 2 on 16th October . Bloomberg has caught a video tour of the upcoming phone before its launch and some pictures have been tweeted by evleaks .
The PadFone 2 will have upgraded hardware with thinner design and easier docking mechanism . It will have 4.7 inch HD display and a 13MP snapper . Recently a leaked packaging also suggested same specs and also that it will have Qualcomm 8064 1.5GHz quad-core processor , 2GB RAM . Rest of the details are not available yet .
The PadFone 2 will not have cover flap like the original PadFone to be opened to put the phone in the tablet dock , and it can be directly docked into the thinner tablet dock .
The design and specs seem to be pretty good , but the PadFone 2 might not sound that interesting to Indian consumers after Asus priced its original PadFone exorbitantly at Rs 65,000 which was already very late to reach Indian market .
