  • Pricing Rationale
Current prices available publicly are 51k on Amazon and 55k on Flipkart for this model. (On sale, without sale they hardly ever come down below 60/61K)
    My upgrades total 23k.
Future laptop prices are guaranteed to be ridiculous as the global economy implodes (a depression is inevitable as is massive price inflation and currency evaporation) we see this happening already, 700$ laptops are prices double or triple in India and it's not coming down anytime soon.
Given all this 54K to my mind is a fair ask. The prices have not come down since and supplies of this model will probably disappear next year. Lastly, we all know how brutal Indian bargaining is and you never start low and miraculously end up high. Please no one give me the "he ma mata ji" that i have priced this machine at 55K, the rationale is laid out above. I welcome inquisitive comments but remember this public forum is not for price negotiation (buyer's privilege) or even to make recommendations. Please do that in private. I previously had it up for a few months but it took it down for lack of time and to give it over to someone known to me, they didn't use it either so its back up with even more upgrades than the last time.

Those are some mind-blowing upgrades. I think the RAM is overkill. 16GB should've been fine I think. Anyway, just to confirm does it have two sticks of 16GB RAM?

@malhotraraul Okay. So just thought i would take this opportunity to shed some light for potential buyers:

1. I am trying actually to be very clear about market prices both right now and as they usually are (without Amazon and Flipkart sales that is). In other words i don't want to jack up the price based on buyer ignorance, rather i am much more happy if you spend your money where it gets the most bang.
2. As @malhotraraul pointed out above and even i did in my original description , there is a variant going for 59k with 16gb ram (half of mine) and a 60hz display (again half of mine lol). On Flipkart a 60hz + 8 GB variant is going for 55k right now, Albeit 17"

and a similar but slightly faster variant for 60K

( https://www.flipkart.com/asus-tuf-ryzen-7-quad-core-3750h-8-gb-512-gb-ssd-windows-10-home-4-graphics-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1650-60-hz-fx705dt-au028t-gaming-laptop/p/itmfhmuq8h5xmhze?pid=COMFUUBMHRJFCGCY&lid=LSTCOMFUUBMHRJFCGCYEK4VRU&marketplace=FLIPKART&fm=productRecommendation/similar&iid=R:s;p:COMFUUBMZXTCRCN5;l:LSTCOMFUUBMZXTCRCN5WQIX5U;pt:pp;uid:4d8f0135-1152-11eb-9f0f-f98fa5a68fe9;.COMFUUBMHRJFCGCY.LSTCOMFUUBMHRJFCGCYEK4VRU&ppt=pp&ppn=pp&ssid=a73atz9m0w0000001603032342750&otracker=pp_reco_Similar+Products_1_34.productCard.PMU_HORIZONTAL_Asus+TUF+Ryzen+7+Quad+Core+3750H+-+(8+GB/512+GB+SSD/Windows+10+Home/4+GB+Graphics/NVIDIA+Geforce+GTX+1650/60+Hz)+FX705DT-AU028T+Gaming+Laptop_COMFUUBMHRJFCGCY.LSTCOMFUUBMHRJFCGCYEK4VRU_productRecommendation/similar_0&otracker1=pp_reco_PINNED_productRecommendation/similar_Similar+Products_GRID_productCard_cc_1_NA_view-all&cid=COMFUUBMHRJFCGCY.LSTCOMFUUBMHRJFCGCYEK4VRU )

144hz variants with 8 Gb Ram are on offer for over 60-62k on Amazon

and 58K on Flipkart

on Flipkart. Without sale these would be slightly more expensive. 51K model has disappeared at the time of writing. Models close to 60K tend to have slightly more capable CPU's. An HP model without SSD is going as low as 50K.
3. I am happy for any passerby to know all this whilst considering my device because it is after aforesaid due diligence that i decided to price the way i did. I.e. at current prices or future non-sale prices + upgrades - depreciation.
4. Even at the price i have listed above, any buyer is easily looking at savings of 20-25K which is decent if i say so myself (i.e a fresh build right now like mine would cost 75-80k+) . Nonetheless i acknowledge not everyone will need the upgrades i have made or be impressed by the logic of my price so i am open to removing components and retooling the price on a case by case basis.
5. Thank you for reading this far (this post can double as a mini fx505dt buying guide lol) . I hope you make the most economical purchase you can. Cheers.

Buddy the upgrade you have done is way overkill. I have a 512gb version of the same model which I bought for 50K. And all it needed was another 8 gig RAM and some storage. I bought the RAM for 2.5K and 240 gig SSD for 2.4K. A 2 tb USB HDD goes for like 4k, I presume almost everyone has a HDD drive in there home these days. And I assure you there would be no difference in your laptop and mine as far as gaming in concerned.

A normal consumer (gamer) doesn't need all that much. 54k frankly is an insane ask. Having used this laptop for the last one year. I would strongly suggest people to buy intel or ryzen 4000 series if they want laptop for gaming. Ryzen is okay and gets the job done but intel is simply better. Intel ones are available from 60k so it's not a whole lot more expensive than your offering plus there's question of warranty. The motherboard of this laptop died twice on me during warranty, what happens after is anyone's guess.

I didn't know you have honored me with such a big speech, saw just now, i didn't read all but all i could understand is that you are defensive
infact i was sorry that i saw your thread after i made the purchase and if i had seen it earlier, something could have worked out, i could have canceled but later realized that i have got 9 months no cost emi facility plus some discount
my sister is studying Architecture and i brought it for her and after i saw the performance i was very much inclined to take yours but then i don't have that cash to give upfront
so don't jump to conclusions please

@malhotraraul
Actually, it wasn't a response to you, all I had said previously was "okay". I just took the opportunity to put forth information since I like to keep updated on prices anyway I thought it would benefit anyone looking at this machine to also have a good idea of market prices and make up their mind the way you did. If anything I am pretty happy you took the time to comment on my post, didn't intend to rebut you.

Yeah, I agree with you I am not marketing this machine to gamers specifically. 54K would be pretty unreasonable for those who need the basic config only. OTOH there are other use cases. If you want to negotiate prices I suggest you do so privately as prices are perceived in relation to the purpose which is very subjective.
