CPU/Mobo Asus Will Start Shipping B3 Revision Sandy Bridge Motherboards This Week

Thinking of Asus p8p67 pro b3 stepping and i5 2500k locally from Pune. He's quoting 13,500 motherboard and CPU 12,000. Prices are a bit high since its locally from Pune. Waiting for response from SMC before i place my order.
 
^ not yet seen the asus mobos on sites........ Gigabyte and Intel Mobos with B3 are available with SMC.......

Thanks for the info Yash. Don't you think the price is on the higher side considering the previous revision was retailing for almost 12.5k IIRC? 1k more is definitely higher! Perhaps we should wait for the rest of the dealers to put up the pricing.
 
yeah.. but see if i buy the motherboard locally i could save me the hastle of rma if ever needed.. and if it retails at 12.5k with shipping and octroi it comes to about 13k-13.2k.. might as well go in for this.. and I've waiting way too long.. dont have a functional rig as of right now.. Anyways i have pm'd SMC.. Waiting for his response.. As for CPU and RAM i will be purchasing it from SMC mostly.. savings on that deal are a lot.. oh btw i read your post in SMC's thread quoting

most of ALL retailers no more accepting RMA from users, check before you buy.
 
Maybe so, but see.. shipping it to Pune, and Octroi charges which never get evaded.. :| if the motherboard is at 12.7k then octoi itself comes to 600 odd bucks.. blah blah.. anyways.. will wait till 20th and see. that is when smc will get B3 stepping asus p8p67 pro as is what i was told in a pm by smc.
 
^^Can't we find someone locally? OR if you'd live we can even take a drive to Bombay if any retailer gets 'em there soon enough and collect 'em I think we both are looking for nearly the same combo.

any update on availability for Asus p8p67 pro mobo.......??

Delta Peripherals here in chennai told that it will be available in mid April..............:@
