Unlock code link (thanks kuduku) - http://www.ebay.in/itm/140848747366?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

For 2g/3g toggle - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mangelow.network
Or if it does not work - try *#2263# and select the GSM band

Actually you wouldn't have the 2G/3G toggle in any phones running stock AT&T firmware. They disable it so that you must use 3G/LTE. The app that you mentioned may work. Also, you can try *#2263# and select the GSM band there. Again this may not work with all AT&T phones as in some firmwares the radio modem is locked and you can't switch 2G/3G in any way. In these cases even you change the selection you'll see that it'll revert back to 3G/WCDMA or LTE after reboot. You need RAT unlocked radio modem to do so which will be available in custom ROMs.

I want to get this phone, but am a bit skeptical only because of the unavailability of custom roms. I am not much of a stock rom fan.
@veer_singh, Kindly update about hows the build quality, and do you face the capacitive button lag? And hows the overall usability?

@veer_singh, 2g/3g toggle link was by kuduku. and alternate method is thanks to tech.addict (as quoted in my thread).

Also, add this link in your first post for root and cwm - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28602780&postcount=3
For reverting to stock rom - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28602800&postcount=4

Just a heads up: I read on some forums, that Pantech PC Suite needs to be installed first for all phone drivers to be installed in windows before rooting the phone.

Updated to ICS and it feels faster and smooth.

Buttons still need to be be press hard. By any chance, is it possible that screen is capacitive touch and the button area is resistive?
