great news..

how efficient wud this crossfire be on a p45 chipset??

Very efficient, im guessing the total power requirement would be just a bit more than a single HD 4850. :)

Now if they can only get some good non-reference cards rolling.

not to my surprise. I expected 4770CF to beat GTX260,4770 and will close up to 4850X2.
but this freaking card beats GTX280(with some exception) consuming much less power.

not to say, it's a best VFM card.

Can we expect same or better results for a HD 4850 and HD 4770 crossfire ?

(I guess we can crossfire two different ATI cards ? )

yes, Hybrid CF.

advantge of 4770CF is low power consumption.

^^ quiet a lot :P above 7k ..i havent seen anything cheaper ..most premium /mid-segment boards supporting CF are around 9-10k .

Biostar 790GX costs less than 7k...:cool2:

whats the point in winning by a single fps when the CF setup will limp around like a 3-legged dog?

Crysis always prefer nVidia & Intel... but you do not buy a GPU to play only one game... Scalability depends on game optimization for a given setup & drivers as well...

The difference you are pointing out is for GTX275 & CF I presume... but do remember the cost of running a 4770 CF & power requirement... when you see that difference of one FPS.....
