Graphic Cards ATI 4890 on VX 450

@Anubis:

If you will 100% go Xfire. Get the TX750 now, and be done with it. It will support Xfire/SLI/multigpu/2xPCBs.

I did the same, got my rig with the good PSU, few months down the line got full HD screen.

:)

Suggestion:

If you get 2 cards, go full ATX.

I still have it. Its my Dad's rig whose Samsung 2233SW+ of his i7 920 rig that went kaput.

So he took mine Samsung P2350 , as his work can't be delayed.

I was planning to get another Samsung P2350

Well now i am monitorless and browsing through my DAD's rig ( after lot of requsts allowed me to touch his rig )

Won't VX 450 hold on till 3 months till i get TX 750 ?

I really have limited budget guys ?

Oh, got it. Then keep the VX450. It will do very well for the 4890 and i5. At the time you buy 2x5870 or 5970, change your PSU. :)

I just want ATI 4890 to run on VX 450 for 3 months. Within that time i'll get TX 750

Why not?

And what will you use for the rest of the PC?
On a serious note, you don't find it important enough to list out the full specs of your rig and any upgrades in the pipeline so that the gurus may take a better-informed decision before suggesting anything? :)

Tell that to your 4890 and request the VX450 too, just in case it disagrees and don't forget to pray too. :p

@Anubis:

What is the point of buying 2 PSUs down the line. You will face losses due to depreciation when you sell the 450W.

If you are 100% sure of the multi GPU get the requirement now.

@ For all who are wondering why he is gonna get VX450

Anubis already has a VX450. That is why he is checking whether it will handle a 4890. :)

Thanks sabby for clearing the confusion. I never knew that people thinks that i am buying VX 450 .

I already have VX 450. I wanted to check whether it will handle a 4890 . Trying desperately to convince my parents to buy me a TX 750

I bought my rig

Waiting for 2 things more , then show - off

Intel Core i5 750 @ 2.6GHz - 9800

MSI P55 CD 53 - 7000

Transcend 2x2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 1333MHz - 4950

Samsung 23" P2350 - 11000

CM 590 - 4200 ( I know i got ripped off badly here , but can't help , the deals i got except this )

XFX ATI HD4890 1 GB - 11800

Corsair TX 750 - 7800

Where did you buy the proccy+mobo am thinking since a long time to move to i5. Also do post your ocing results as that chip is hampered by the on-chip PCIE bus lock.

Congrats. But I can't believe you bought an MSI as you were opposing it. Anyway, pricing on most of the components is cool. Where did u buy?

^^

Anubis.....! Ya..just remembered. I remember trying to convince you too. But you were darn against the Micro Star International.

:) Tell, tell..Gopi..tell tell...!

Congrats dude. But, why did u get 750W psu as your mobo doesn't support Multi GPU?

Anubis started another thread where he said he mite go for 2xHD5870 or 2xGF100 GPUs...so he bought TX750...but now he's got a MOBO which doesn't even support multi GPU so don't see the point of 750W unless he'll upgrade again in 2-3 months(mobo)...

man what is he ambani's son?
