thats the temp on a reference design 4870 so not that high.
the card is bit old, so the stock thermal compound might ve got powdered. remove the cooler and reseat it after applying a fresh layer of TX2/MX2 after removing every trace of older one with a bit of alcohol dipped soft cloth.
