goldie, affer the DC patch from MS did you notice that sometimes for certain apps / scenarios, one core gets used a lot and the other less? it happens in my case (opteron 170).
 
thats because most of the app out there now are single threaded.

Windows still tries to dynamically share load upto some extent.

For now very few DC optimised apps are out there.

But if you wana see the power of DC try encoding some DVDRIPs using autogk and divx 6 ( divx 6 has dc optimisations ). the thing flies. Reduces encoding times by nearly half.

As days goes by we will see lots more optimisations for DC.
