Not really. I tested them for 7 hours, not 30 minutes. And the piece we recieved had more than 100 hours chalked up. The lack of bass impact is distracting when listening to your favourite tracks. And I'm not a bass head by any means. Hate those type of rigs and setups, but LF are important.

Good you like the 5021s, I'd refrain from commenting on the MXs untill i give a respectable listen.

As for the lows on the AE2s, yes they do lack the <60 Hz ultimate low scenarios but, then it depends on the kind of music one listens whether this kind of LF is needed or not.

No arguments on that...

Well, i've been using A2's for about 5 months now.

Here are few things i've figured out:

1. They are a excellent desktop audio solution, far better than what we generally come across.

2. Audio quality is just perfect for the size and the power rating, they never sound like a 6 inch speaker.
3. The LF response feels just right in Genres like Pop, Soft Rock, Ghazals, Classical; which sometimes feels missing in Genres like Metal/Hard Rock.

4. All Said and done, there's no unit in this size and price that offer this level of Build Quality, stereo imaging and sound spectrum.

Just my 2 cents.:)
