Audio quality N70 v/s k750i

Between N70 and k750i which cell's sound quality is better. Both, via speakers and earphones. The more reviews I read of N70, the more I like it. I read the review on gsmarena, but they haven't explicitly mentioned anything about the sound quality.

If anybody here has heard both phones, kindly reply. Thanks.
 
Via the speakers, K750i offers much more clarity in the sound than N70.

Via headphones, its not comparable. They're all good and on-par with each other. However i think N70 gains a slight edge because of tons of mp3 players with much deeper equalizers and the fact that N70 can play almost any audio extension out there. The K750i cannot play WMA, OGG, but N70 happily supports them thanks to Symbian+3rd party apps. Coming to mp3's the difference is still hardly noticeable. I played the same song on my friends W550i, and on the N70, with the same headphones, and i just couldn't tell the difference between the two.

But doesn't k750i have mono speakers and N70 have stereo speakers ? so how will the k750i audio quality be better then N70 ?
 
N70 has stereon playback support for earbuds.

I'd recommend the N70 as K750i is getting old.

Better still ditch both and get 3250 !

Awesome phone. Freind's sister bought from Alfa yesterday for 16.5k. Simply amazing. Even better sound than W550i, plus 2MP cam, rocking !
 
uh, yeah, but its paraman who's looking for a phone bluff....

@Paraman - Dude, you should know K750i offers a better still camera than N70 due to autofocus, music too like i said beofre is the best it could be. Look at pro's and cons' of both the phone and decide for yourself.
 
well as far as I could tell,

Overall N70 almost matches K750i in multimedia and surpasses it by the virtue of it's OS. thus a much better buy if u can afford both.

I don't understand why you guys aren't recommending 3250 :S

Its 2k cheaper than N70, comes with 128MB internal mem, 512MB card free, 2MP cam, Music button, Symbian 6.3 (Latest)...
 
^^ Ah that maybe cause i seriously dont trust the rubik cube on it :| Looks like it could screw up if you aren't careful. The fone refuses to work with older symbian apps, rumour has it that none of them work on it right now. The camera isn't refined as SE fones especially the points i made earlier about the N-series. Its slower than other fones around. So why go for a half-baked fone when you have alternatives. Personally the 3xxx series mm fones haven't taken off for nokia.

Compare the w550i / w800i to the n70!

Plus see the prices :rofl:...
 
^^ Exactly. W800i has competition from 3250 N70 is slightly higher end.

Actually the thread title sucks. How can you compare 2 phones whose price difference is 7-8k...
 
I am currently using the K750i and I love it. Its sound is awesome. But because it is not Symbian there are limits to how much you can do with it. I was aware of this when I bought it. When I bought it 3 months ago its price was comparable to what N70's is now. At that time Nokia had nothing with comparable sound quality at k750i's price

During my regular browsing sessions I came across good reviews of N70. So I was wondering that if its sound quality is on par with K750i, maybe I could sell my SE and go for it.

I am ok with any difference in camera quality as I don't use it much. N70 has the bigger screen too. Plus till now Nokia didn't include FM radio in most models (with some exceptions). But N70 has FM too. That's why I was leaning towards N70.

As for hearing both phones and deciding for myself. Well, I am not in a position to do so which is why I asked for your opinion in the first place.
 
Read my first post. Sounds on par with mp3 players/Walkman phones. N70 is a high end phone, Nokia just didn't advertise its features dedicatedly.

Btw like ICE said, if you do decide to go for N70, wait for N72. You'll be wasting money on N70 since 3G is useless in India.
