thanks alot zhopudey, chaos, anish, sunilyo, niks, shakensoul for those great suggestions...thats why i love this place...all under one hood, even if my friends dont buy it, i may end buying the amp and the speakers... :)

I know audiophiles do not like BOSE, and will flame to kill anybody who says BOSE is the BEST,:ohyeah: ...but man can some1 explain how are they able to kinda change the music all together and make it sound different with so much of depth. Its just not the demo rooms, even Planet M and Ansal Plaza have them, and they sound terrific over there as well. I dont know how to put it, I have heard good setups with very rich bass and clarity but BOSE seems to change the equation all together.

I am not suggesting anyone to buy bose, just that would like to take this opportunity to clear up my doubts about why BOSE sound so amazing and different.

Yeh...I have the same feeling too!!... in all these places it sounds good.. But I haven't heard a proper (AMP+Source+Speakers) BOSE music system in recent memory..

Bose sounds like crap... if you think bose sounds good, you haven't heard enough audio systems.

If you want to recreate the Bose kind of sound (albeit much richer) on a proper high fidelity audio setup, you can always pump up the bass and treble while toning down the mid ranges (The V curve on an equalizer)

This isn't the best way to listen to audio but then if thats the way you prefer it, so be it....

For many people, a flat tonal curve sounds , well, non punchy/edgy to start with....but once you develop a taste for it, you will be amazed how you could put up with the artifical V curve

hey thanks SC for that update, next time maybe will try out...i thought its some kinda speciality of BOSE, btw chaos maybe you are right too....:)
