Planning to upgrade my audio setup, use case : gaming, movies and music...any suggestions?

Big fan of bose

ok thats a decent budget,
i would suggest the

Sonos Wireless Compact Beam Smart TV Soundbar

not only will you fulfill the soundbar requirement but you will also get a great speaker with huge amount of wifi internet music options, Amazon music/youtubemusic/Apple music (alexa/google voice)etc.
its for 38k right now on amazon

Second option Yamaha YAS 209, you will get a wireless woofer with the soundbar so that always helps plus it has alexa and amazon music
32k on amazon

and third would be SONY HT S500RF this comes with woofer and 2 rears also but no internet music options only BT from phone etc
36k on amazon

personally i would prefer the sonos for the unlimited music streaming options

Soundbars are a no-no if you are serious about sound. They are good for those who care more about budget, space, looks etc., but if you truly want a good sound, then invest in good passive bookshelf speakers and an amplifier/AVR. If budget is an issue, then go to active speakers route.

For option one, the Yamaha ones suggested by @Slayer88 is a good basic HiTB but limited in future expansion. A better way is to buy just two speakers at first and then add a subwoofer at a later stage and then two rear speakers for surround to complete a 5.1 system.

Something like these - https://hifimart.com/product/elac-debut-2-0-b5-2-speakers-pair-html/

Pair them with an AVR or an integrated amplifier, e.g. https://hifimart.com/product/marantz-pm6007-integrated-amplifier/

For option two, I suggest Edifier S350DB but mind the Amazon price. I think it can be bought for lower if you search locally or direct Edifier distributor.

Can i get a 5.1 system to work with both my ps5 and pc?
Currently I have HDMI 2.1 connected to the tv and i take aux out to my current speakers...

Yoooo.... Sony HT S500RF is wireless!

Is there any way to make the most out of my current set of speakers.... Which are

1) bose soundlink wireless II
2) an old Phillips 5.1 with only 3.5 connector

Whatever you do, don't buy the cheap F&D ones. They are just 'tap tap tap' sound (no bass, entire low end cut to zero).
