I feel like those years have lapsed from my memory. Mind does not want to remember any of that.No...Please no. We have seen one pandemic in our lifetime already. Don't want to see another.
This is exactly what they said about COVID too. For the healthy, it may not mean much. For vulnerable populations like children and older folks with comorbidities, it could lead to more serious complications. So at best it will cause "bronchitis or pneumonia". Not enough to cause a lockdown.
people cough and sneeze here without closing their mouth with their hand. Very low hygiene consciousness in India. Send one infected child to school because he has mild symptoms and the entire classroom gets infected. Children pass their virus to parents who go to work on overcrowded buses and trains and help spread the disease even more. Pretty soon hundreds to thousands will have coughs and high fever for days. Imagine the state of hospitals and clinics. There's a lot of Indian businessmen and their families going to china on business trips and coming back here. I'm sure none of them will isolate for a week or two in India even if they were infected with a mild strain of the virus. So at best it will cause "bronchitis or pneumonia". Not enough to cause a lockdown.
No. I don't know marathi but I got similar warnings regarding pigeons for a long time. Like last year beginning. Like this
yes, related. it basically says that evidence has been found that mumbai has been witnessing a marked rise in hpmv cases because of the micro-organisms in pigeon-droppings, and that 60-65% of people who're suffering from lung-diseases have also been found to be having hypersensitive pneumonia. hence citizens are advised & warned not to feed pigeons in the open. all should note that anyone found doing so would be penalised.
yeah, there had been a really unfortunate casualty due to this in our society some years back.No. I don't know marathi but I got similar warnings regarding pigeons for a long time. Like last year beginning. Like this
