Audio Streaming

Hello All,

I am new to all this. And was wondering how to stream audio onto the internet? Like creating an online radio station?
I have one up and running but would like to introduce it online without paying hefty pricetags.
Any suggestions as to software, or hardware needed?

Search for shoutcast/icecast. However you need a radio license from the recording company to broadcast the music if its a commercial record label. Without that its illegal and you are liable to be prosecuted. No such issue if its music you created or public domain music .
