They wont require any high amounts of amping but will surely benefit from a decent sound card , which applies for any good audio equipment. Even with onboard they should be good enough :).

Got the cans Gautam! :)

This one is miles ahead of the entry level Sennheisers HD201, HD202 etc. Very very comfortable, the soundstage is pretty good for something OOTB - might improve after a bit of burn-in, extra-decent bass for cans as cheap as this. The spiral cable is a bonus as it doesn't clutter the desk. And your packaging - hats-off. That box was mighty big for cans as small as these. Too generous are we? :D

Thanks for your feedback Gannu .The AT line up in India is indeed much better than the offerings from Sennheiser , especially because we have hand picked the models for India after testing and comparing with other products from competition brands of same price range.

hey dude recieved ad700 , and clip + in pristine condition :) , clip+ refused to start in beginning bcoz of battery down den wrked after i pressd power button for sm time kept for charging now :) , ad700 are pretty gud , volume is lill low bcoz of my onboard sndcard will be buying snd card in a mnht or two :) , awesome fast shipping bro ty for the product :)

The AD500 is indeed the sweet spot .Pretty much provides similar performance as the AD700 with a tad bit more bass.

Even a decent entry level soundcard or DAC should show some differences with the AD700 . You won't need anything very expensive as they are very easy to drive. :)
