Hi , everyone . I have been using my Z5500's for over three years now . Powering them from my generation old Audigy2 ZS . Using the same combo since i bought both of them together .
Very satisfied with its performance overall . In movies its great but but but when it comes to music .. the boomy bass puts me off . In music , i am more into deep tight punch bass and Z5500 lacks here according to me . As of now i tweak equalizers to reduce frequencies from 80-125hz to avoid that boom boom .
Well , now wanna change to something pure audiophile as now movie watching has been reduced and music listening has increased more . And after reading all info about audio-engine A5's on TE and other forums , i am finally decided with them .
So , now looking for a DEAL . Anybody willing to sell there A5's , please do quote me offers .
