Australia Bans Social Media for people below 16

Only parents can control this. Govt, at the best can make a law. what are they going to do, arrest people for this? Kids are smart these days, they all know how to download and use a VPN (or other relevant s/w) to bypass the restrictions.
 
India should ban all social media (for people below 60 years) as long as they allow Ali-express so poor Indians like us can buy affordable electronics. We might even be able to buy a quantum computer in the future.

The DPDP Act defines a child as someone below the age of 18, and mandates that parental consent is required to process the data of a child.

This is trending on indian sub reddits now. lol. Indian people claiming now there's no freedom of speech or it will be hard to implement. Wonder if govt will ban video games next (for children less than 18)
